"This is my keypad. What system do I have?"

In general, keypads will have the name of the alarm system manufacturer imprinted somewhere on the keypad. If there is not markings then scan the pictures in each of the categories below to find your keypad.

 

DSC keypads will usually have the 'DSC' label, and may also have a 'Power Series' or 'Maxsys' label, which will further identify to which series of panels they belong

 

Napco alarm systems fall into two main categories: Magnum Alert, and Gemini. Keypads for these series of panels will have the 'Magnum Alert' or 'Gemini' label to indicate to which series of panels they belong.

 

Moose keypads will have either the word 'Moose' or a picture of a moose on the front of the keypad. The LED keypads will indicate whether they are for the 911 or Z1100 systems. The LCD keypad is for the Z1100.

 

Paradox keypads will typically have labels indicating to which series of panels they belong, such as 'Spectra', 'Digiplex', or 'Magellan', or may simply be labeled as 'Paradox'. Also Paradox panels will have a TRB or TRBL button, unlike most otherpanels.

 

Ademco keypads will almost always be indicated by either an 'Ademo' label or a 'Honeywell' label.

 

GE keypads will typically have the 'GE' logo on the keypad
