ARMING/DISARMING
stay ARMING
Enter the Access Code. Do Not leave the premises.
Away arming
Enter the Access Code, or enter * 0 to quick arm (in enabled). Leave through a designated entry/exit door.
DISARMING
Enter your Access Code to disarm anytime the system is armed.
DISARMING ERROR
If your code is invalid, the system will not disarm and a 2 second error tone will sound. If this happens hit # key, and try again.
BYPASSING
With the system disarmed.
1.Press *1 then your Access Code. The 'System' light will flash.
2.Enter the 1-digit Zone Number(s) of the zones to be bypassed (1-4). These 'Zone' lights will come on.
Pressing a zone number a second time will unbypass the zone. That 'Zone' light will go out.
3.To exit bypassing mode and return to the Ready state, press #.
Bypassed zones are automatically canceled each time the system is disarmed and must be bypassed again, if required, before the next arming. |
DOOR CHIME
To turn door chime on or off press * 6.
MEMORY LIGHT
The 'Memory' or 'System' lights illuminate to indicate that an alarm has occurred
1.Press * 3 to view which sensor(s) generated the alarm. The 'System' light will flash
2.The 'Zone' light(s) will flash.
3.Press # to exit
4.To clear the alarm memory, arm and disarm the system.
TROUBLE CODES
1.Press * 2 to enter trouble display.
2.The keypad will display a number from 1 to 4 to indicate the particular trouble, as follows:
1. Battery Trouble
2. AC Power Fail
3. Fire Trouble
4. Communications Trouble
3. Press # to exit trouble display. The 'Trouble' light will stay on until the trouble is resolved.
PROGRAMMING ACCESS CODES
It is highly recommended that all requests for assistance with access codes be referred to the dealer!
ADDING OR CHANGING CODES
1.Press * 5 plus the (Master Access Code). The 'Ready' , 'Armed' , and 'System' lights will flash. The 'Zone' lights will indicate which codes are currently programmed.
2.Enter the 1-digit user number to be programmed (1-4).
3.Enter the new 4-digit Access Code
4.Enter the 1-digit user number of the next code to be programmed, or, if finished, press # to exit.
Take special care when changing the Master Code (Code 1). Errors changing the Master Code will likely require a service call from a technician to correct.The Master Code can not be deleted. |
ERASING A CODE
Follow the same procedure as above except, at Step 3, enter * * * * instead of a 4 digit code.
