A client may call in wondering why the doors have stopped making a little sound whenever they are opened. They may have either switched off the chime function by accident, or if it is an Ademco system, Chime is turned off automatically whenever programming mode is entered.

Look in the panel manuals for instructions on how to turn the chime function on or off.
