Changing a Low Battery

Changing out a battery that has gone low is a very simple process.

Simply open the Control Box, Remove the Leads from the old battery, and reattach them to the new battery, Red to red, Black to black.

Alarm systems use a standard 12v 7ah (12 volt 7 amp-hour) lead-acid rechargeable battery. The Smaller battery shown is also commonly used, it is also 12v, but only 4ah.

It can take up to 24 hours for the trouble condition to clear once a battery has been changed.
