arming non-partitioned system

Full arming

Enter the Access Code, or for quick arming, press and hold the 10 (0) key for 2 seconds

stay arming

Press the STAY (11) key, and enter the Access Code, or press the STAY (11) key again, To quick arm in stay mode, press and hold the STAY (11) key for 2 seconds.

Force arming

Used to automatically bypass all open zones and arm the remaining zones

Press the AWAY (12) key and enter the Access Code

arming partitioned systems

In a partitioned system, the STAY and AWAY keys refer to Partition A, and B respectively, instead of arming type

Arming Partition A

Press the STAY (11) key and a valid Partition A Access Code, or an Access Code that is valid for both partitions.

Arming Partition B

Press the AWAY (12) key, and a valid Partition B Access Code, or an Access Code that is valid for both partitions.

Arming Both Partitions

Press and hold the 10 (0) key for 2 seconds.

disarming non-partitioned system

Enter the Access Code before entry delay expires. If you make a mistake when entering the code press the CLEAR key and re-enter the code.

DISARMING partitioned system

A code assigned to only one partition will silence an alarm from the other partition, but will not disarm that partition

Press the STAY (11) key and a valid Partition A Access Code, or an Access Code that is valid for both partitions.

disarming partition b

Press the AWAY (12) key, and a valid Partition B Access Code, or an Access Code that is valid for both partitions.

silencing alarms

To disable an alarm in progress press the CLEAR key, and the Access Code.

To silence or reset a fire alarm, enter a valid Access Code.

BYPASSING

1.Press the BYP key, and enter the Access Code

2.Enter the Key Numbers corresponding to the zone(s) you wish to bypass. If you wish to undo a zone selection, press the corresponding key again

3.Press the ENTER key

Helpful Tip

Bypassed zones are automatically cancelled each time the system is disarmed and must be bypassed again, if required, before the next arming.The Fire zone can not be bypassed.

DOOR CHIME

Zones 1-6, as well as local keypad zones can be programmed as Chime zones

Pressing keys 1-6 will turn on or off the chime in zones 1-6

Pressing key 8 will turn on or off the chime for zones connected to this keypad (must be done for each keypad)

alarm memory

The MEM key will illuminate to indicate that alarms occurred during the previous armed period.

Once system is disarmed, pressing the MEM key will illuminate which zones went into alarm during previous armed period.

To clear a memory indicator you must arm and disarm the system.

TROUBLE codes

When a trouble condition occurs, theTRBL key on your keypad illuminates

Press the TRBL key, and then the 2ND key to display current trouble conditions. Trouble conditions are displayed by illuminated numbers, which are defined as follows:

    1. Low Battery

    2. Power Failure

    3. AC Power Failure

    4. Bell Disconnected

    5. Maximum Bell Current

    6. Maximum Auxiliary Current

    7. Communication Failure

    8. Timer Loss

    9. Tamper/Zone Wiring Failure

    10. Telephone Line Monitor Trouble

     11. Fire Trouble

Press the CLEAR key to erase trouble conditions in memory.

programming system time

1.Press ENTER key then enter the Master Code or User 1 Code then the MEM key

2.Enter 2 digits (00 to 23) for hours, followed by 2 digits (00 to 59) for minutes.

3.Press ENTER.

programming access codes

It is highly recommended that all requests for assistance with access codes be referred to the dealer!

adding/changing codes

1.Press ENTER key followed by the Master Code or User 1 Code

2.Enter the 2-digit User Number for the code you wish to program. To change the Master Code enter user number 00  

3.Enter the new Access Code

4.Return to step 2 to program additional access code(s), or press CLEAR key to exit program mode

Proceed With Caution

Take special care when changing the Master Code. Errors changing the Master Code will likely require a service call from a technician to correct.The Master Code can not be deleted.

deleting codes

1.Press ENTER key followed by the Master Code or User 1 Code

2.Enter the 2-digit User Number for the code you wish to delete  

3.Enter the new Access Code

4.Press the 2ND key, then press ENTER

5.Press CLEAR key to exit program mode
