Paradox is a popular brand of Canadian-made alarm systems. They range from basic, entry level residential systems to large commercial systems which can incorporate access control functions. Paradox has a few main series of panels:
Digiplex and Digiplex EVO series
The Digiplex and Digiplex EVO line of panels provide the highest level of protection for banks, high-security military and government sites, luxurious residential homes and any place where maximum security is essential. These systems are designed to be easy to use.
These panels integrate access control solutions. Your alarm system can be used to manage the access to up to 32 doors, and the monitoring of these doors can be included in any partitions. By merging security and access control, the Digiplex and Digiplex EVO increase the level of protection offered by security systems to a new level.
With the introduction of the SP series, the reliability of Spectra panels is expanded to provide you with more features, such as more on-board zones (expandable to 32), and support for the new GSM Module (Cellular Communicator), and Internet Module (IP Communicator)
Spectra offers a combination of innovative features and an expandable security system. Spectra can be expanded via wireless and hardwired expansion modules and a variety of accessory modules. With its reliable communication technology, flexible expansion and great-looking keypads, Spectra is an ideal security system for any residential or commercial installations that require up to 16 zones of protection.
The Esprit series was the first main line of Paradox panels. They were installed between the mid 90s and mid 2000s. They could accommodate up to 18 zones, depending on the model.
