checking status

Press the STATUS key. The keypad will display all open zones and will announce system status.

ARMING

AWAY ARMING

Enter Access Code and push the AWAY key. If quick arming is enabled you can simply press and hold the AWAY key for at least 2 seconds.

STAY ARMING

Enter Access Code and push the STAY key. If quick arming is enabled you can simply press and hold the STAY key for at least 2 seconds.

BYPASSING

1.Enter Access Code and push the BYPASS key.

2.Enter the 2-Digit Zone number(s) for the zone(s) to be bypassed. When finished the console will display a "bypass" message along with each bypassed zone number accompanied by a beep for each

3.Arm the system as usual

Helpful Tip

The system will not allow Fire zones to be bypassed. All bypasses are removed when an OFF sequence is performed.

DISARMING THE SYSTEM AND SILENCING ALARMS

To disarm the system enter Access Code and push the OFF key.

 The 'Ready' message will be displayed and the console will emit a  single tone to confirm the system is disarmed.

To silence a burglary or fire alarm enter an Access Code and push the OFF key.

To clear the Memory of Alarm display enter an Access Code and push the OFF key. Enter the Access Code and push the OFF key a second time.

DOOR CHIME

Enter your Access Code and  the CHIME (9) key to turn chime on/off

Common Trouble displays

A display of FAULT and one or more zone numbers indicates that a problem exists with the displayed zone(s) and requires your attention. Determine if the zones in the display are intact and make them so if they are not. If the problem has been corrected the display can be cleared by entering the OFF sequence (Access Code plus OFF key) twice.

A display of LOW BAT with no zone number or beeping indicates that the main standby battery in your control is weak.

A display of LOW BAT with a Zone Number and a once per 40 seconds beeping at the console indicated a low battery condition exists in the wireless sensor displayed.

A display of LOW BAT with Zone Number 00 displayed indicates a low battery condition exists in a wireless keypad.

OTHER TROUBLE DISPLAYS

dl: If this remains displayed for more than one minute your system is disabled. CALL FOR SERVICE.

This message is displayed for 1 minute after applying power to the system

CC: The system is in communication with central station.

FC: a communication failure has occurred.

OC: The console is not receiving signals from the control panel and sees an open circuit. If this message persists for more than 10 minutes CALL FOR SERVICE.

programming time and date

For the Lynx Plus panel (L3000) follow the same directions below, but instead of hitting the * (Star) key, hit the ADD key.

1.Enter the Master Code, then press the FUNCTION key, then enter 63

2.Enter the 2-digit Hour (01-12), then press *

3.Press 1 for PM or 0 for AM, then press *

4.Enter the 2-digit Minute (00-59), then press *

5.Enter the 2-digit Month, then press *

6.Enter the 2-digit Day Of The Month, then press *

7.Enter the last 2 digits of the Year (00-99), then press *

8.The keypad will beep 4 times, then exit clock setting mode

programming access codes

It is highly recommended that all requests for assistance with access codes be referred to the dealer!

Add/change a user code

1.Enter Master Code then press the Code key

2.Enter new user's 2-digit user number

3.Enter Access Code for that user

changing master code

1.Enter Master Code then press the Code key

2.Enter 02

3.Enter New Master Code

4.Enter New Master Code a second time

Proceed With Caution

Take special care when changing the Master Code. Errors changing the Master Code will likely require a service call from a technician to correct.The Master Code can not be deleted.

delete a user code

1.Enter Master Code then press the Code key

2.Enter 2-digit user number to be deleted

3.Wait about 3 seconds until the keypad beeps once before pressing any other key. The code will be automatically deleted.
