ARMING/DISARMING

Away ARMING

Check to see that the green 'Status' light is lit. On the LCD keypad the display should read 'SYSTEM READY'. Enter your Arm/Disarm Code. The red 'Armed/Alarm' light will come on, and the green light will go off. On the LCD keypad the display will read '***ARMED***'.

Stay Arming

This feature must be enabled by the dealer

1.Press the [B] key three times. The keypad will beep the yellow Bypass light will come on. On LCD keypad, 'Bypass' will be displayed.

2.Enter your Code to arm the remaining zones.

DISARMING

Enter your Arm/Disarm Code to disarm anytime the system is armed.

DISARMING ERROR

If you enter the wrong code you must wait at least 3 seconds before trying again.

BYPASSING

With the system disarmed.

1.Press [B/A] key .

2.Enter the 2-digit Zone Number(s) of the zone(s) to be bypassed (01-14), however because there is no 0 key, use the [B/A] key in place of a 0.

Helpful Tip

To view bypassed zones, press and hold the 2 key until the sounder beeps and continue to hold it down until all bypassed zones have been displayed.

Reset Function

Press and hold the 9 key until the sounder beeps.

Resets any sounder condition, AC power loss condition, Day Zone indication, and Fault Find Mode. May be programmed to reset the Fire Zone. Will clear the numerical zone(s) displayed after an alarm condition.

Display Status

Numerically displays the zones that are not secured.

Hold down the 3 key until the sounder beeps and all zones have been displayed.

DOOR CHIME

Press and hold the 5 key for 2 seconds until the sounder beeps.

Repeating this procedure will turn off this feature

ALARM HISTORY

1.Press and hold the [B/A] key until the sounder beeps.

2.Continue to hold it down until all the information has been displayed.

The red 'Armed/Alarm' light will flash to indicate the last alarm condition. The numerical display will indicate the zones violated. Alarm history will remain in alarm memory until automatically reset by a new alarm condition,

TROUBLE CONDITIONS

The following system troubles will display on the keypad (by number or message), whether armed or disarmed, accompanied by flashing LEDs:

1. AC  Failure

2.Low Battery

3.Failure to Communicate

4.Transmitter Supervisory (wireless systems only)

5.Transmitter battery (wireless systems only)

6.Receiver Trouble  (wireless systems only)

7.Auto-Download Failure (for installer's use only)

8.Telephone Line Fail

The indication may be temporarily reset by holding down the 9 key, in order to check zone status, and/or arm the system. If the trouble is not corrected it will return after about 3 minutes.

If there is a trouble on the fire circuit, the bottom red Fire/Trouble light will flash and the sounder will pulse. Disarm the system (if armed), hold down the 9 key to silence the sounder, and call for service.

PROGRAMMING ACCESS CODES

ADDING OR CHANGING CODES

1.Press and hold the 8 key until the sounder beeps. This will put the system into User Program Mode.

2.Enter your Program Code into the keypad. The top 3 lights will flash and the sounder will pulse.

3.Press the [B/A] key.

4.Enter the User Number as a 2-digit number (01 through 15)

Note: Code 15 is the Service Code. This is a temporary code designed to be used by contractors, guests etc.

5.Enter a Code of up to 6 digits (digits 1-9, cannot use a 0 in a user code)

6.Press the [B/A] key three times to exit the Program Mode.

ERASING A CODE

To Erase a code, repeat steps 1-4, and 6 (skip step 5).
