ARMING/DISARMING

Away ARMING

Check to see that the green 'Status' light is lit. On the LCD keypad the display should read 'SYSTEM READY'.

Enter your Arm/Disarm Code , then press the ON/OFF button.The red 'Armed/Alarm' light will come on (on the RP2600 keypad, the red 'System On' light come on), and the green light will go off. On the LCD keypad the display will read '***ARMED***'.

Stay Arming

This feature must be enabled by the dealer

1.Press the INTERIOR button. The display will read 'Bypass' or the yellow Bypass light will come on.

2.Enter your Arm/Disarm Code , then press the ON/OFF button to arm the remaining zones.

DISARMING

Enter your Arm/Disarm Code , then press the ON/OFF button to disarm anytime the system is armed.

DISARMING ERROR

If you enter the wrong code you must wait at least 3 seconds before trying again.

BYPASSING

With the system disarmed.

If, when you go arm the system, the display reads 'Zone Fault' , press the FUNCTION button (RP2000LCD) or the DISPLAY button (RP2600), then press the ON/OFF button (RP2000LCD) or the STATUS (1) button (RP2600) to display the faulted zones.

To Bypass a zone, press the BYPASS button, then the 2-digit Zone Number you wish to bypass. The display will read 'Bypass' and/or the yellow Bypass light will come on.

Each zone must be bypassed separately

When the system is subsequently disarmed, the bypass will be removed from the zones.

Resetting Fire Alarms/Fire Troubles

1.Disarm the system, if armed.

2.Press the RESET button to silence the sounder.

3.Press the RESET button again to clear the alarm/trouble.

Display Faulted Zones

RP2000LCD

Identifies zones that are in a fault condition

1.Press the FUNCTION key.

2.Press the ON/OFF key.

RP2600 keypad

1.With the keypad cover lowered,  Press the DISPLAY button

2.Press the STATUS (1) button

RP2600 keypad only

With the keypad cover lowered, the DISPLAY button will provide a visual indication of the following conditions on the readout:

Zones Faulted (in "Trouble"). Press the DISPLAY button followed by the STATUS (1) button to identify the zones in trouble (while disarmed)

Directory. To scroll though a list of all programmed zone descriptions, press the DISPLAY button, then the DIRECTORY (2) button.To return to the system, press the RESET button at any time.

Zones Bypassed. Press the DISPLAY button, then the BYPASS (3) button to list zones that have been bypassed.

With the keypad cover raised, the DISPLAY button will provide a visual indication of the following conditions on the readout:

Fire Status. To display the condition of the Fire Zone (if installed) after the display and sounder indications have been reset, press the DISPLAY button, then the FIRE STATUS (1) button.

System Troubles. Pressing the DISPLAY button, followed by the SYSTEM TROUBLE (2) button, will display system troubles.

Alarm History. Alarm conditions occurring during the last 4 arm/disarm intervals are retained in memory. Alarm History #1 always contains the most recent interval, Alarm History #2 the next, etc. Press the DISPLAY button, followed by the ALARM HISTORY (3) button.

DOOR CHIME

RP2000LCD

Press the FUNCTION key 13 times.

Press the ON/OFF key.

RP2600

Raise the keypad cover and press the FUNCTION (BYPASS ZONE) button.

Press the 4 key.

A "C" will appear in the display as long as the Chime Mode is activated.

Repeating these procedures will turn off the Chime feature

ALARM Memory

When the system is first disarmed after an alarm has occurred, the display will read 'ALARM MEMORY' and continue to indicate the violated zones until the RESET button is pressed, or the panel is armed once again.

TROUBLE CONDITIONS

RP2000LCD

To display the system trouble, press the FUNCTION button 5 times, then press the ON/OFF button to execute.

Note: If you press the FUNCTION button to many times, you can use the BYPASS button to step backwards.

RP2600

With the keypad cover raised, pressing the DISPLAY button, followed by the SYSTEM TROUBLE (2) button, will display system troubles.

PROGRAMMING ACCESS CODES

In systems with multiple keypads, only keypad #1 may be used to program codes.

RP2000LCD

Note: Use 4 key to scroll up, the 7 key to scroll down, the 2 key to move the cursor to the right, and the 1 key to move the cursor left

1.Press the FUNTCTION key 16 times, then press the ON/OFF button.

2.Enter your Program Code, then press the ON/OFF button to enter program mode.

The display will briefly read PROGRAM1 #XXXX, and then USER 01 (XXXXXX) (User 1's existing arm disarm code).

To program user 01, proceed to step 4. To program a different user, proceed to step 3.

3.Press the NEXT (INSTANT) button until you reach the user number you wish to program.

4.Using the 4 key to scroll up, or the 7 key to scroll down, hold down the key until the desired first digit of the code is displayed.

5.Momentarily press the 2 key to move the cursor one digit to the right.

6.Repeat step 4 until the desired 2nd digit of the code is displayed.

7.Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all the desired digits are displayed.

8.Press the SAVE (ON/OFF) button to memorize the code.

9.Return to Step 3 to program another user, or, press RESET to terminate the program mode.

RP2600

1.Raise the keypad cover.

2.Enter your Program Code, then press the ON/OFF button to enter program mode.

The display will briefly read PROGRAM1 #XXXX, and then USER 01 (XXXXXX) (User 1's existing arm disarm code).

To program user 01, proceed to step 4. To program a different user, proceed to step 3.

3.Press the NEXT (INSTANT) button until you reach the user number you wish to program.

4.Using the 4 key to scroll up, or the 7 key to scroll down, hold down the key until the desired first digit of the code is displayed.

5.Momentarily press the 2 key to move the cursor one digit to the right.

9.Return to Step 3 to program another user, or, lower the keypad cover to terminate the program mode.
