ARMING/DISARMING
ARMING IN STAY MODE
1.Close all protected doors and windows.
2.Enter the 4 or 6 digit User Code.
3.Press the Stay button.
ARMING IN AWAY MODE
1.Close all protected doors and windows.
2.Enter the 4 or 6 digit User Code.
3.Leave the premises.
DISARMING / Canceling alarm
Enter the 4 or 6 digit User Code.
BYPASSING
Bypassing
1.Press the Bypass key.
2.Enter User Code, if required (optional). The bypass light flashes.
3.Enter the 1-digit number for the zone you wish to bypass.
4.Press the Bypass key again.
5.The corresponding zone light will illuminate indicating the zone has been bypassed. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for any other zone(s) that need to be bypassed.
6.Press the Bypass key again, or press the # key to exit the bypass mode. The bypass light will stop flashing upon exiting bypass mode.
Unbypassing
To Ubypass zones, perform the bypass procedure on the zone(s) again.
All zones will automatically be unbypassed each time the system is disarmed. |
Alarm Memory
1.Press * + 3 keys. The zone(s) that created the last alarm will be displayed on the keypad.
2.The Alarm Memory feature will flash those zones that created alarms and will light steady those zones that were bypassed during the last arming.
Reset function
This function is used to reset Smoke Detectors, Zone Tampers, and Zone Troubles.
1.Disarm the system if not disarmed.
2.Press * + 7 keys. Resets have now been performed.
3.If the keypad begins beeping, the reset did not execute properly. Enter your code to silence the keypad. Wait a few minutes and repeat step 2 to attempt another reset. If the keypad still beeps after repeated attempts, please contact your installer.
DOOR CHIME
System must be disarmed
To turn door chime on or off, press the Chime button. When on, the Chime light will be illuminated. When off, the Chime light will be off.
Programming date/Time
Setting system date
1.Press * + 9 + 6 keys.
2.Enter the Master Code.
3.Enter the day of the week, 1 - 7 (1 = Sunday, 2 = Monday etc.)
4.Enter 2-digits for the current month.
5.Enter 2 digits for the current day of the month.
6.Enter the last 2-digits of the year.
setting system clock
1.Press * + 9 + 7 keys.
2.Enter the Master Code.
3.Enter 2 digits for the current hour (using 24 hour clock).
4.Enter 2 digits for the current minutes.
Service Menu (Trouble Conditions)
If the service light is on it means the system requires service.
1.Press the * key followed by the 2 key.
2.One or more zone lights will light to indicate what service(s) is required
3.Call your service provider immediately for these conditions.
PROGRAMMING user CODES
It is highly recommended that all requests for assistance with access codes be referred to the dealer!
programming new User Codes
1.Disarm system, if not already disarmed.
2.Press * + 5 keys.
3.Enter a Master Arm/Disarm Code.
4.The Ready light will flash
5.Enter the 2-digit User Number of the code you wish to add.
6.Enter the new User code.
7.The Ready light will flash indicating you are back at step 4. If the code is rejected a sounder will beep 3 times.
8.If another User Code needs to be programmed return to step 5.
9.Press the # key while the Ready light is flashing to exit User Code programming.
Assigning user code authority levels
Program the user code as above before assigning it's authority
1.Press * + 6 keys.
2.Enter a Master Arm/Disarm Code.
3.The Ready light will flash.
4.Enter the 2-digit user number for the code to be assigned authority.
5.Lights illuminated indicate the authority levels assigned to this code (see the chart below). You can toggle (turn on/off) the authority by pressing the number for that authority level.
Deleting User Codes
Follow the same procedure as for adding a user code except, at step 6, press the * key 4 times (for a 4 digit User Code), or 6 times (for a 6 digit User Code).
