ACCESSING OTHER PARTITIONS

For partitioned systems, each keypad is assigned a default partition for display purposes, and will show only that partition's information. But, if the user is authorized, a keypad in one partition can be used to perform system functions in the other partition by using the GOTO command. Note that only those partitions authorized and programmed by the installer can be accessed in this manner.

To go to another partition, enter your Access Code, then press * and the single-digit partition number

Entering partition number 0 will return the keypad to it's original partition

The keypad will remain in the new partition until directed to go to another partition, or until 2 minutes has elapsed with no keypad activity

2.Enter the 2-Digit Zone number(s) for the zone(s) to be bypassed. For Vista 128 and Vista 250, enter 3-digit zone number(s). When finished the console will display a "bypass" message along with each bypassed zone number accompanied by a beep for each

3.Arm the system as usual

Helpful Tip

The system will not allow Fire zones to be bypassed. All bypasses are removed when an OFF sequence is performed.

DOOR CHIME

Enter your Access Code and  the CHIME (9) key to turn chime on/off

TROUBLE CONDITIONS

See Manual for complete details.

Common Trouble displays

The word CHECK on the consoles display accompanied by a beeping at the console indicates a trouble condition in the system. To silence the beeping of any of these conditions hit any key.

A display of CHECK and one or more zone numbers indicates that a problem exists with the displayed zone(s) and requires your attention.

Determine if the zones in the display are intact and make them so if they are not.

If the problem has been corrected the display can be cleared by entering the OFF sequence (Access Code plus OFF key) twice.

If there are wireless sensors in your system the CHECK condition may also be caused by changes in the environment that prevents the receiver from hearing a particular sensor.

A display of BAT with no zone number or beeping indicates that the main standby battery in your control is weak.

A display of BAT with a Zone Number and a once per 40 seconds beeping at the console indicated a low battery condition exists in the wireless sensor displayed.
