Arming/Disarming

Arming

1.Make sure the READY light is on.

2.Enter your Access Code, then push the # key. The ARMED light will come on and the display will read, 'ARMED'.

Disarming

Enter your Access Code, then push the # key. The red ARMED light will go out.

Bypassing

1.Enter your Access Code.

2.Enter the Zone Number you wish to bypass.

3.Press the # key.

Additional zones may be bypassed in the same manner.

All bypasses are removed when the system is disarmed.

Alarm Memory

If you silence the system after being in alarm the LCD display will show the Zone Description of the zone that was in alarm. This is called Alarm Memory.

Alarm Memory will be cleared the next time the system is armed.

Resetting Smoke Detectors

This option must be enabled by the installer.

Smoke detectors can be reset by simultaneously pressing the 1 and 3 keys.

Chime Mode

To turn door chime on or off:

1.Enter your Access Code.

2.Press the * key, followed by the 6 key, then the # key.

Fault (Trouble) Conditions

If a fault condition exists it will be indicated with a flashing green READY light, a 'TROUBLE' message on the keypad display, and an audible warning tone from the keypad.

To identify the fault condition, and silence the audible warning, do the following:

1.Enter your Access Code.

2.Press the * key, followed by the 9 key, then the # key.

Fault conditions will be displayed on the keypad. If there is more than one fault condition, the keypad will scroll through them.

Changing User Access Codes

1.Enter the Master Code.

2.Press the * key, followed by the 7 key, then the * key again.

3.Enter the User Number (1-8) to be programmed.

4.Enter the new 4 digit Access Code.

5.Press the # key.
