ARMING/DISARMING

ARMING IN AWAY MODE

1.Press the # key to "wake up" the system

2.Enter the Access Code. The keypad will display "Arm System in Away Mode Y/N?"

3.Press the Up Arrow (Yes) key.

ARMING IN STAY (HOME) MODE

1.Press the # key to "wake up" the system

2.Enter the Access Code. The keypad will display "Arm System in Away Mode Y/N?"

3.Press the Down Arrow (No) key. The keypad will display "Arm System in Home Mode Y/N?"

4.Press the Up Arrow (Yes) key. The keypad will display "Arm With Entry Delay Y/N?"

5.Press either the Up Arrow (Yes) key, or the Down Arrow (No) key, depending on whether or not you want there to be an entry delay when someone comes in.

DISARMING

1.Press the # key to "wake up" the system.

2.When prompted, enter the Access Code

DISARMING ERROR

If a mistake is made while entering your access code, hit the # key to clear your mistake and enter your Access Code again.

BYPASSING

1.Press the # key to "wake up" the system

2.Enter the Access Code.

3.When prompted to indicate if you want to arm the system, hit the Down Arrow (No) key until "Bypass/Unbypass Zones Y/N" is displayed.

4.When this message is displayed hit the Up Arrow (Yes) key.

5.The keypad will display "Zone 01 Bypass Y/N?" (or similar message). To bypass this zone hit the Up Arrow (Yes) key. To display the next zone hit the Down Arrow (No) key.

6.When the Up Arrow (Yes) key is pressed, the keypad will display "Zone 01 Unbypass Y/N?". The zone is now bypassed. To clear the bypass, hit the Up Arrow (Yes) key. To display the next sensor, hit the Down Arrow (No)key.

DOOR CHIME

1.Enter the Master Code and press the Down Arrow (No) key until "Turn Door Chime On Y/N?" is displayed.

2.Press the Up Arrow (Yes) key to turn the door chime on.

If the door chime is already on, the keypad will display "Turn Door Chime Off Y/N?" in step 1. Hitting the Up Arrow (Yes) key here will turn the door chime off.

Alarm memory

If there are alarms in memory, the keypad will display 'System Ready Alarms in Memory' before arming.

1.When the keypad displays the message "Arm System in Away Mode Y/N?" allowing you to arm the system, press the Down Arrow (No) key until "View Alarm Memory Y/N?" is displayed

2.Press the Up Arrow (Yes) key, to view alarms in memory.

Trouble codes

1.When trouble conditions are present the keypad sounder will beep a warning. Enter your Access Code to silence the trouble beeps. When the code is entered the keypad will display "System Ready Trouble Present".

2.When the keypad displays the message "Arm System in Away Mode Y/N?" allowing you to arm the system, press the Down Arrow (No) key until the keypad displays "View System Trouble Y/N?".

3.Press the Up Arrow (Yes) key to scroll through the trouble conditions.

4.When finished reviewing the list, press the Down Arrow (No) key.

PROGRAMMING TIME/DATE

1.Enter the Master Code

2.press the Up Arrow (Yes) key when "Reset Clock Y/N?" is displayed.

3.Enter the date in MM/DD/YY format on the keypad.

If an error is made entering the date, you can press the # key, and start over

4.Enter the time in 24 hour format on the keypad (HH:MM).

If an error is made entering the time, you can press the # key, and start over

5.Once the time is enter the keypad will display the date and time just programmed with the message "Reset Clock Y/N?". If correct, press the Down Arrow (No) key. If incorrect, press the Up Arrow (Yes) key to start over

6.When complete press the # key to return to normal keypad operation.

PROGRAMMING ACCESS CODES

It is highly recommended that all requests for assistance with access codes be referred to the dealer!

Programming/Changing Codes

1.Enter the Master Code and press the Down Arrow (No) key until "Edit Access Codes Y/N?" is displayed.

2.Press the Up Arrow (Yes) key. The keypad will display which of the 10 access codes have already been programmed. Codes that have already been programmed will be represented with a dash "-".

3.Keypad will display "Add/Edit Code Y/N?". Press the Up Arrow (Yes) key to add a new code, or change a code that had already been programmed. The keypad will display "Select Access Code 0 to 9".

4.Press the number key, 0 to 9, to indicate which code you wish to add or change. The keypad will display "Enter Access Code..."

5.Enter the new Access Code. If a mistake is made entering code, hit the # key to clear the entry, and enter the Access Code again. They keypad will then display which codes have been programmed.

6.Press the Up Arrow (Yes) key to program a new code, or press the Down Arrow (No) key twice to leave the Edit Access Code mode.

Deleting codes

1.Enter the Master Code and press the Down Arrow (No) key until "Edit Access Codes Y/N?" is displayed.

2.Press the Up Arrow (Yes) key. The keypad will display which of the 10 access codes have already been programmed. Codes that have already been programmed will be represented with a dash "-".

3.Keypad will display "Add/Edit Code Y/N?". Press the Down Arrow (No) key.

4.Keypad will display "Erase Code Y/N?". Press the Up Arrow (Yes) key.

5.The keypad will display "Select Access Code 0 to 9". Enter the number (0 to 9) of the access code you wish to erase.

6.To leave the Edit Access Code Mode, press the Down Arrow (No) key twice.
