Logging on to the Keypad

Before most operations a user must log in to the keypad

Enter your User Code, then press ENTER.

If you need to restart the entry process, press CLEAR.

If the correct code is entered you will be presented with a welcome screen, greeting you with the time of day.

Arming/Disarming

Regular Arming

1.Log on to the keypad.

2.Press MENU, then 1.

3.If you have access to more than one partition, you can scroll through them by using the Up/Down Arrow keys.

4.Press the ARM key to arm the zones in the partition.

Stay Arming

1.Log on to the keypad.

2.Press MENU, then 1.

3.If you have access to more than one partition, you can scroll through them by using the Up/Down Arrow keys.

4.Press the STAY key to arm the normal zones in the partition and bypass the stay zones.

Force Arming

If enabled, will automatically bypass all open zones and arm the remainder

1.Log on to the keypad.

2.Press MENU, then 1.

3.If you have access to more than one partition, you can scroll through them by using the Up/Down Arrow keys.

4.Press the FORCE key.

Disarming

1.Log on to the keypad.

2.Press MENU, then 1.

3.If you have access to more than one partition, you can scroll through them by using the Up/Down Arrow keys.

4.Press the DISARM key.

Silencing and Canceling Alarms

1.Log on to the keypad.

2.Press the DISARM key.

Smoke Detector Reset

To reset a smoke detector, press the CLEAR and ENTER keys simultaneously for 3 seconds.

Bypassing Zones

1.Log on to the keypad.

2.Press MENU, then 7 and then 1. This will display the first zone available to be bypassed.

3.Use the Up/Down Arrow keys to scroll through the zones until the zone you wish to bypass is displayed.

4.Press the 1 key to bypass the zone, or the 3 key to remove the bypass from a zone.

Alarm Memory

1.Log on to the keypad.

2.Press MENU, then 5 and then 1.

3.Use the Up/Down Arrow keys to scroll through the different partitions that can be viewed. If a particular partition has alarms in memory the keypad will sound a rejection tone, and the display will show the memory message.

4.To view the first item in memory, press ENTER.

5.To view the next item stored in memory, press the Down Arrow key.

6.Press MENU to exit view mode, and return to the main menu.

Note

The alarm memory is cleared the next time you arm the system

Setting date and time

1.Log on to the keypad.

2.Press MENU, then 6 and then 1. This will display the Time Screen.

3.Enter the time using the numerical keys, then press ENTER to move to the Date Screen.

4.Enter the date using the numerical keys, then press ENTER to move to the Day of The Week Screen.

5.Use the 1 key to scroll up or the 3 key to scroll down until the correct day of the week is displayed, then press ENTER.

6.Press CLEAR to exit.

Viewing Trouble Conditions

1.Log on to the keypad.

2.Press MENU, then 5 and then 2. This will display the Trouble View Menu. If a trouble condition exists, the first trouble will be shown.

3.If prompted, press ENTER to acknowledge the trouble.

4.To view the next trouble condition (if present), press the Down Arrow key.

5.When done viewing troubles, press the MENU key to return to the main menu.
