ITI (Interactive Technologies Incorporated) were an early adopter of wireless technology, and specialized in wireless alarm systems.  ITI was eventually bought out by GE Security, so panels in the ITI line may be branded with either manufacturers' logo.

Some of the older ITI panels are no longer being manufactured, though they can still be found in homes and businesses.

Allegro

The Allegro system is used primarily for residential security. It was also originally manufactured by ITI, then GE, so may be branded with either the ITI or GE logos. It is a self-contained unit (control panel with built in touchpad). It uses wireless sensors exclusively, and is preferred by many for it's small form factor. A unique aspect of the Allegro system is that it uses a wireless dialer module, which is very useful in installations where wiring a phone line to the panel is infeasible or not cost-effective.

SIMON

The Simon series of panels was originally manufactured by ITI, and is now one of GE's main line of systems. The systems may be branded with either the ITI or GE logos. They are a self-contained unit (control panel with built in touchpad). They use wireless sensors exclusively. They are suitable for wall mounting or can be placed on a desktop. The have features such a voice prompts, the ability to control your system with your touchtone telephone, and the ability to have the system advise you if your children have not arrived home by a specified time. The Simon lineup includes the original Simon, the Simon 3, and the Simon XT systems.
