ARMING/DISARMING (Non-Partitioned)

Away ARMING

1.Check to see that the green 'Status' light is lit.

2.Enter the Arm/Disarm Code, and then press the ON/OFF key.

Note: If you enter an incorrect code the keypad will display 'Invalid Entry, Try Again'. Re-enter a correct code immediately.

Stay Arming (Interior Zone Bypass)

This feature must be enabled by the dealer. Bypasses zones designated as Interior Zones.

1.One or two groups of zones may have been designated as Interior Zones. Select the Interior Group by repeatedly pressing the INTERIOR button. The keypad will display 'I1' , 'I2', or 'I1+I2', each with it's related description.

2.When the desired Interior Group is displayed, press the ON/OFF button to select it. 'BYPASS' will display to indicate zones bypassed.

3.Enter the Arm/Disarm Code, then press the ON/OFF button. The red Armed light will come on, and the green Status light will blink, indicating zones bypassed. After the exit delay has expired the keypad will display 'SYSTEM ARMED'.

DISARMING

Enter your Arm/Disarm Code , then press the ON/OFF button to disarm.

Note: If you enter an incorrect code the keypad will display 'Invalid Entry, Try Again'. Re-enter a correct code immediately.

ARMING/DISARMING (Partitioned)

To Arm Any Area

1.Press the Numerical Key representing the area number.

2.Press the * button, then the ON/OFF button. In effect you will now be in that area.

3.Enter your Arm/Disarm Code, then press the ON/OFF button to arm that area

To Arm All Areas

1.Press the 9 button.

2.Press the * button.

3.Enter your Arm/Disarm Code, then press the ON/OFF button.

Note: If any zone is not secured, the keypad will display, 'CAN'T ARM SYSTEM/AREA # IN TROUBLE', where '#' identifies the area number. All problem zones must be secured or bypassed before the area can be armed. If a System Trouble is indicated, the system may not be armed using this method.

Disarming All Areas

1.Press the 0 button

2.Press the * button

3.Enter your Arm/Disarm Code, then press the ON/OFF button.

BYPASSING

With the system disarmed.

1.Press BYPASS button .

2.Enter the 2-digit Zone Number of the zone to be bypassed.

Reset Function

Pressing the RESET button resets various System Troubles, Displays, etc. Resets residential smoke detector.

Resetting Fire Alarms/Fire Troubles

1.Disarm the system, if armed.

2.Press the RESET button to silence the sounder.

3.Press the RESET button again to clear the alarm/trouble

RESETTING SMOKE DETECTORS

Note: Displayed messages are two lines long. Press the * key to display the second line.

1.Enter an Arm/Disarm Code.

2.Press the FUNCTION button.

3.Press the INSTANT button until the message 'RESET SMOKE.../DEVICES' is displayed.

4.Press the INTERIOR button to select this option.

5.To return to normal keypad operation, press the RESET button.

Alarm Memory

When the system is first disarmed after an alarm event, the keypad will display 'ALARM' followed by the zones violated.

To reset the display, note the zones violated, then press the RESET button.

DOOR CHIME

Note: Displayed messages are two lines long. Press the * key to display the second line.

1.Enter an Arm/Disarm Code.

2.Press the FUNCTION button.

3.Press the INSTANT button until the message 'ACTIVATE.../CHIME' is displayed.

4.Press the INTERIOR button to select this option.

A 'C' will appear in the display as long as the Chime Mode is active

5.To return to normal keypad operation, press the RESET button.

Note: To deactivate the chime follow the same procedure. When the Chime is on, the message in step 3 will be 'DEACTIVATE.../CHIME'.

TROUBLE CONDITIONS

Note: Displayed messages are two lines long. Press the * key to display the second line.

1.Enter an Arm/Disarm Code.

2.Press the FUNCTION button.

3.Press the INSTANT button until the message 'DISPLAY.../SYS TRB' is displayed.

4.Press the INTERIOR button to select this option.

5.Press the NEXT and PRIOR buttons to scroll system troubles.

6.To return to normal keypad operation, press the RESET button.

PROGRAMMING ACCESS CODES

In systems with multiple keypads, only keypad #1 may be used to program codes.

Note: Use 3 key to scroll up, the 6 key to scroll down, the 2 key to move the cursor to the right, and the 1 key to move the cursor left

1.Enter your Program Code, then press the FUNCTION button to enter Function mode.

2.Press the BYPASS button until 'ACTIVATE PROGRAM' is displayed.

3.Press the ON/OFF button.

The display will briefly read, 'USER PM#XXXX', then 'EXIT TIME (XXX)'.

4.Press the NEXT button until 'U01 xxxx .. -.-.' is displayed, representing the user code (with Option Code, Authority Level and Acess Byte).

To program User 01, proceed to step 7. To program a different user, proceed to step 5.

5.Press the 2 key until the cursor is positioned under the 1 in 'User 01'

6.Press the 3 key to increment the users (User 02, User 03 etc.) until the desired user number is displayed.

7.Using cursor keys 1 and 2, position the cursor over the first digit of the user code.

8.Press key 3 (data up) until the first digit of the desired access code is displayed.

9.Momentarily press key 2 to move the cursor one digit to the right.

10.Repeat steps 6 and 7 to program the second, third, and fourth digit of the desired access code.

11.Press the SAVE (ON/OFF) button to memorize the code.

12.To terminate Program Mode, press the RESET button.
