This file contains instructions for using the DSC PowerSeries and NEO panels with either a Hard-Wired Touchscreen, or Wireless Arm/Disarm Station. |

Arming/Disarming
Away Arming
1.Tap the 'Away Arm' icon.
2.Enter a valid User Code, if prompted.
Stay Arming
Tap the 'Stay Arm' icon.
Disarming
Tap the 'Disarm' icon.
Bypassing
1.Tap the 'Zone Status' icon.
2.When in the ZONE STATUS page, scroll up/down through the zones (Open zones will be indicated with an open door icon next to the zone).
3.If using the Wireless Arm/Disarm Station press the 'Bypass Zones' icon.
4.Tap on the 'Bypass' icon to bypass the zone (or the 'Unbypass' icon to unbypass a zone).
Alarm memory
1.When an alarm occurs, the Memory or System indicator will turn on.
2.To view which sensor(s) generated the alarms, tap 'Alarm (!)'. The sensor number where the alarm occurred will be displayed.
3.Use the < > scroll keys to view the sensors in alarm memory.
4.Press 'Back' or 'Home' to exit.
5.To clear the memory, arm and disarm the system.
Sensor Reset
•Certain sensors require a reset to exit the alarm condition (such as glassbreaks and smoke detectors)
Hard-wired Touchscreen
•To reset the sensors, from the Home screen tap the 'Outputs' icon, then tap the 'Reset' or 'Command O/P 2' icon on the Outputs screen.
Wireless Arm/Disarm Station
1.From the Home screen, tap the 'More' icon.
2.Tap the 'Functions' icon.
3.Tap the 'Outputs' icon.
4.Select 'Reset' or 'Command O/P 2'.
Door Chime
Hard-Wired Touchscreen
Tap the 'Chime' icon to turn the door chime on or off.
Wireless Arm/Disarm Station
1.From the Home screen, press the 'More' icon.
2.Press the 'Functions' icon.
3.Select 'System Chime' to turn the chime on or off.
Programming Time and Date
Hard-Wired Touchscreen
1.From the Home screen, tap on the 'Options' icon.
2.Select 'User Functions' then enter the Master Code.
3.Select 'Time & Date'.
4.Tap on the selection you would like to change and use the up/down arrows to change the time/date.
5.Once done, press 'Save'.
Wireless Arm/Disarm Station
1.From the Home screen, tap the 'More' icon.
2.Tap 'User Options'.
3.Select 'User Functions' then enter the Master Code.
4.Select 'Time & Date'.
5.Tap on the selection you would like to change and use the up/down arrows to change the time/date.
6.To exit, press the 'Back' or 'Home' button.
Troubles
1.When a trouble condition is detected, the Trouble or System indicator will turn on and the keypad will beep every 10 seconds.
2.Press the 'Troubles' (Triangle) icon to silence the beeps.
3.Press 'Trouble' (Triangle) to view the trouble conditions.
Access Codes
Hard-Wired Touchscreen
1.Press the 'Options' icon, and then select 'Access Codes' from the Options menu.
2.Enter the Master Code when prompted.
3.Once the Master Code has been entered a numeric keypad is displayed with arrows to scroll to the desired user to add/edit.
4.Scroll to the desired user, and press the 'Select' button to enter the user options, or, simply enter the 2 digit user number on the numeric keypad. The options you will be presented with are:
•Set Access Code - adds/edits the Access Code.
•Set Partitions - assigns the user to partitions.
•User Options - enables/disables different options for the user.
•Delete User - deletes the user from the system.
Adding/Changing Access Code
1.Select 'Set Access Code'.
2.Enter the new Access Code. The new Access Code will overwrite the previous access code, if there was one. If you make a mistake entering the new code, press 'Clear' then enter code again.
3.Once the last digit is entered the new code will be saved. No additional action is required to save the code.
Erasing an Access Code
Select the code, and choose 'Delete User'. The system will delete the code immediately and the user will be returned to select another code.
Wireless Arm/Disarm Station
1.From the Home screen, press the 'More' icon.
2.Press the 'User Options' icon, and then select 'Access Code Prog' from the User Options menu.
3.Enter the Master Code when prompted.
4.Scroll to the desired user, and press the 'Select' button to enter the user options, or, simply enter the 2 digit user number on the numeric keypad. The options you will be presented with are:

•Set Access Code - adds/edits the 4 digit code.
•Prox Tag Programming - enrolls proximity tags for models equipped with a proximity reader.
•User Options - enables/disables different options for the user.
•Delete User - deletes the user from the system.
