FBII (Fire Burglary Instruments, Inc. - FBI for short) manufacture electronic security systems, burglary alarms and fire alarms for residential homes and commercial businesses. They are a less common line of panels, currently distributed through Honeywell.

 

Early Star-XL line

One of the early lines of FBI panels is the Star XL line. They date back to the late 1980's. These panels ranged from 6 to 16 zones.

 

Current XL lineup

The current lineup of FBI panels include the XL series. The panels range from small residential systems with only 4 zones and a few user codes, up to large systems which can accommodate up to 128 zones and user codes, ideal for commercial applications.
